Our bachelor study programmes:

are organized in accordance with the Bologna Declaration. They are characterised by innovative teaching methods and student-centred learning and are delivered in classrooms outfitted with instructional technology (computers, interactive whiteboards, Wi-Fi access, etc.) Learning is also supported by student library and its collection of academic titles.

Prospective students can apply for admission twice a year, in June and September. We admit over 300 seats for self-financing and students supported from the government funds.

Faculty of Philosophy offers master’s programmes in Serbian Language and Literature, Serbian Literature and Language, English Language and Literature, Russian Language and Literature, History, Pedagogy, Psychology, and Sociology. All the programmes are evaluated and approved by the National Accreditation Agency.

The minimum requirement for admission to any master’s programme is a BA degree (240 ECTS) in humanities with good results from a recognized university.

The programmes aim at developing competences achieved in BA studies as well as equipping the students for independent research that will result in master’s thesis. Required and elective courses map the path for the student’s future academic and professional career.

We offer Ph.D. study programmes in Language and Literature, History, Pedagogy, and Sociology. All the programmes are evaluated and approved by the National Accreditation Agency. The minimum requirement for admission to any Ph.D. programme is a master’s degree (300 ECTS) with good results from a recognized university.

Doctoral studies last three years (six semesters, 180 ECTS) and are delivered through courses, seminars, and individual work of students, in accordance with the Bologna declaration.

These programs are intended to prepare students for careers in scholarship and teaching as well as for independent research and critical writing. The Faculty offers rich graduate programs in humanities, and students are encouraged to take advantage of its variety of subjects and approaches and pursue cutting-edge research with the close supervision of  internationally recognized researchers.

Required courses develop core competences of future researchers, while elective courses give further insights into specific disciplines as tools for a successful Ph.D. dissertation and degree.
